Surviving on Lockdown

Life as we understand it has drastically shifted. The world outside our doors is a shadow of its former self. We are now confined within the limits of our homes, forced to adapt to a new reality. The days melt, marked by the pattern of online meetings, consuming media, and baking. We yearn for the simple pleasures that were once granted for granted: a hike in the park, a cup of tea with friends, or even just a conversation without a screen separating us.

This new world has forced challenges, but it has also unveiled unexpected capacities within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more compassionate, more inventive, and more grateful for the little things in life. As we navigate this unknown territory, we must keep hopeful that brighter days are coming.

Freedom's Six-Foot Line

Life behind bars is a harsh reality. Every day, you face restrictions that feel like an unbreakable wall. The world outside seems so close, yet it's separated by just that symbolic distance of six feet.

Sometimes, the weight of those bars feels suffocating. You crave freedom with every fiber of your being. The constant ticking of time serves as a constant echo that you're confined.

But even in the darkest moments, there's a flicker of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be free. That day might seem uncertain, but it's a dream worth holding onto.

Chains of Liberty

The allure with freedom can be an enticing force. Yet, paradoxically, it can even lead to imprisonment. This manifests when the very notion of freedom becomes perverted, transforming into a weapon for control and suppression.

Genuine freedom entails not only the absence of external constraints but also the cultivation of internal spirit. When this inner core is lacking, even amidst a society that celebrates freedom, individuals can find themselves bound within home arrest the boundaries of their own minds.

Ultimately, the true measure of freedom lies in our ability to break free the constraints that restrict our potential, both externally and internally.
